The 2024 Players Championship is the 21st staging of the Players Championship ranking snooker tournament. It is taking place from 29 April to 6 May 2024 at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton, England.
The tournament features 32 players, including the top 16 players in the world and 16 other players who have qualified through the WPBSA Q School Order of Merit. The tournament is played over four days, with the final being played over four sessions on 5 and 6 May.
The prize fund for the 2024 Players Championship is £1,250,000, with the winner receiving £250,000. The defending champion is Judd Trump, who beat John Higgins 10-4 in the 2023 final.
BBC TV coverage details
The BBC will provide live coverage of the 2024 Players Championship on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. Coverage will start at 1pm on each day of the tournament, with the final being covered live from 1pm on 5 and 6 May.
